MOC Programs description
Rite of Passage Program
A six week program to help our adolescence kings, ages 14 to 18 develop positive masculine identities through a strengthening of body, mind and soul. This is accomplished by promoting understanding and appreciation of the black man in history and culture, developing achievement motivation, fostering positive and responsible behavior, and modeling positive black male images.
This program will be conducted by Dr. Courtland Lee. Dr. Lee is a retired counselor and university professor. He has written three books on counseling African-American males and has developed Rites of Passage programs across the country.
